LANDSCAPE STUDIES RESEARCH GROUP
Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism, Federal University of Alagoas (Maceió, Alagoas/BR).
Member of the Landscape Studies Research Group between 2010 and 2013, as well as of the Taba-êtê Creation Laboratory, an offshoot of the group dedicated to transforming materials produced through scientific research into cultural and artistic outputs.
Between 2010 and 2012, she held a PIBIC/CNPq undergraduate research fellowship for the project Franciscan Itinerancies and the Design of Towns and Cities in the Colonial Centuries in Northeastern Brazil, supervised by Professor Maria Angélica da Silva, PhD.
The Group studies specific landscape contexts by considering their elements, dynamics, people, and temporalities. Its research takes into account both the material and intangible elements of landscape culture, using iconography, historical accounts, and the sensory and affective observation of spaces as its main tools. Travel and image documentation, together with the recording of testimonies and sounds, provide a basis for the research and are also reformatted into cultural outputs
