Tela Tudo was a film club and audiovisual experimentation collective active in the city of Maceió between 2008 and 2013. During this period, it organised film screenings in different venues across the city, as well as performances, cultural events, short film productions, cinema workshops, and film club training.
The group’s main premise was the democratisation of audiovisual culture, particularly Brazilian audiovisual production, seeking to broaden access to films from different genres, periods, and themes, based on the Rights of the Public.
It described itself as a “screenless” film club, with no fixed screening venue and an itinerant mode of operation. The expression telar tudo, from which the collective took its name, referred to the possibility of turning different surfaces and spaces into screens, exploring varied screening situations and forms of experimentation with the moving image.
The experience within the collective, developed alongside the Architecture and Urbanism degree, informed the final degree project Passages: Cinema, Architecture and Video Projection.

Cinema à Vontade Screening Programme, film screenings held in peripheral neighbourhoods of the city of Penedo during the 3rd Alagoas University Film Festival (Penedo, Alagoas, Brazil, 2013):
Intervention in the ruins of the former Alagoas Yacht Club in Maceió (Alagoas, Brazil, 2013). Photographic and video records of dances held at the club while it was still active were projected onto the remaining structures of the building. The action was part of Lis Paim’s artistic research project Montar uma Ruína: Clube Alagoinha.
